Het maakte gebruik van miniaturen in 25mm schaal. De figuren kwamen uit de drie oude films en de boeken van Timothy Zahn. Er zijn drie boeken voor SWMB verschenen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Star Wars Miniatures Battles, de regels<\/li>\n<li>Star Wars Miniatures Battle Companion, met nieuwe regels, regels voor voertuigen en achtergrondinformatie<\/li>\n<li>Imperial Entanglements, een senario-boek<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De Star Wars licentie ging later, na het faillissement van West End Games, aan Wizards of the Coast over. De boeken en miniaturen zijn dus niet meer nieuw te krijgen, en vooral het vinden van miniaturen kan best lastig zijn. Desalniettemin wordt SWMB nog steeds gespeeld, en er is ook een <a href=\"http:\/\/games.groups.yahoo.com\/group\/swmb\/\">Yahoo group<\/a> voor.<\/p>\n<p>WotC heeft inmiddels zijn eigens Star Wars spel. Dit gebruikt ietsjes grotere miniaturen, ook uit de nieuwe films. Deze moeten (uiteraard) verzameld worden. De regels hebben echter niets met het oude SWMB te maken.<\/p>\n<p>Op Internet is er vrij weinig over SWMB te vinden. Naast de bovengenoemde Yahoo group zijn er nog een aantal websites met informatie en foto&#8217;s.[\/lang_nl]<\/p>\n<p>[lang_de]Star Wars Miniatures Battles war das Star Wars Tabletop Spiel von West End Games, damals der Herausgeber des  Star Wars Rolllenspiels. Das Spiel ben\u00fctzte Miniaturen im 25mm Ma\u00dfstab. Die Figuren kamen aus den drei alten Filmen und den B\u00fcchern von Timothy Zahn. Drei B\u00fccher sind f\u00fcr SWMB erschienen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Star Wars Miniatures Battles, das Regelbuch<\/li>\n<li>Star Wars Miniatures Battle Companion, mit neuen Regeln, Regeln f\u00fcr Fahrzeuge, sowie Hintergrundinformationen<\/li>\n<li>Imperial Entanglements, ein Szenario-Buch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die Star Wars-Lizenz ging sp\u00e4ter, nach dem Bankrott von West End Games, an Wizards of the Coast. Die B\u00fccher und Miniaturen sind also nicht mehr neu erh\u00e4ltlich, und vor allem das Finden von Miniaturen kann sehr schwierig sein. Nichtsdestotrotz wird SWMB noch immer gespielt, und es gibt daf\u00fcr eine  <a href=\"http:\/\/games.groups.yahoo.com\/group\/swmb\/\">Yahoo group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>WotC hat inzwischen sein eigenes Star Wars Spiel. Es ben\u00fctzt etwas gr\u00f6\u00dfere Miniaturen, auch aus den neuen Filmen. Diese m\u00fcssen (nat\u00fcrlich) gesammelt werden. Die Regeln haben nichts mit dem altem SWMB zu tun.<\/p>\n<p>Im Internet ist ziemlich wenig \u00fcber SWMB zu finden. It uses slightly larger miniatures, also from the new movies. These (of course) have to be collected. The rules have nothing in common with the old SWMB.<\/p>\n<p>Little can be found over SWMB on the Internet.
